Luca Hugo Brucculeri
Italian born in Sicily. He lives, creates and works in Barcelona.
He studied art in the city of Agrigento, Sicily. Graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Palermo, with a thesis on visual communication, awarded in the young Targa section for Permanent Observatory of Design ADI – Italian Association of Industrial Design – published in the ADI Design Index 2014 (an annual publication that collects the best Italian design) and candidate in 2015 for the “Compasso d’Oro” the most important Italian Design Award at international level.
He achieved a Master in Fashion and Luxury Management at Link Campus Business University in Rome.
He has collaborated with External Reference Architects (a design studio based in Barcelona) for Moritz in the M-Store, in the section of interior design, window dressing and retail. Participating in fashion events such as 080 Barcelona Fashión and Barcelona Shopping Night, in the section of creation, development and implementation of the scenarios. By designing the Yota Phone Pavilion stand at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
He Worked as Window display & Visual Communication Designer for Instore, a team of specialists in design, production and installation for retail of luxury brand.
Collaborates in projects for large luxury firms such as:
Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein, Armani, Redken, Swatch, Adidas and with a particular dedication to the firm Hermès, developing as a team the shop window designs of Spain along with artists Kiki van Eijk, Marcel Van Doorn, Mathieu Ducournau and Luna Paiva.
In parallel he develops personal projects and collaborates as a freelance in visual communication jobs for companies and small businesses.
